Ivan was at the wheel for the first time in the age of 7.
The debut in the races – 1998 (karting). 1999 – the 5-th place in the Russian Championship of karting in the “Mini” class. 1999 – the first place in the Russian Championship of karting in the “Mini” class. 2000 – the second place in the Russian Championship of karting in the “Raket” class. 2001 – the first place in the Russian Championship of karting in the “Raket” class. 2002 – the fifth place in the Russian Championship of karting in the “ICA – Junior” class. 2003 – the fifth place in the International Constructors Cup in the “ICA – Junior” class. 2003 – the fifth place in the Belgian Championship of karting in the “ICA – Junior” class. 2003 – the third place in the Russian Championship of karting in the “ICA – Junior” class.
As the “Lukoil Racing” driver, Ivan drives the first season. He is the silver prize-winner of the third, fifth and sixth races qualifying stage in the Russian Championship of ring races in the “Formula R” class.
